MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS PRE-ENTRY ONLY!!
Come and join us for a ride across the picturesque Osberton Estates. Easy and safe hacking over miles of lanes and tracks not usually open to the public. Optional jumps and water crossing along clearly marked routes of 2, 4 & 6 miles which can be linked to make a 12 overall.
We have a photographer out on the route and hope to have catering van too (watch this space)
£10 to ADRC MEMBERS
£15 to NON MEMBERS
Rules
All riders must wear a hat to current BS standards and additionally body protector if they wish to take part in the “jumping” elements which includes any elements of the “water features” also.
Riders must set off in small groups – no more 4/5 in 10 / 15 minute intervals.
We have been invited to hold this pleasure ride with the kind permission of the Osberton Estate which does operate as a working farm with crops and livestock so please respect the grounds by staying to the set route only. Follow the map and arrows along the route but if you do encounter any difficulties please call Kate Longfield. 07841 709145
There will be a £2 mandatory bib fee refundable on return.
Riders will be asked to fill in contact details and sign a disclaimer before setting out. The route will be marked during the weekend prior and in case of cancellation notices will be put on the website and facebook and emails sent out.
Jumping is optional and aimed at all abilities.
To ensure that we all have a fun day without any “hiccups” please can you take note of the information and follow the rules set out below:-
Potential risks / hazards present
Livestock
There may be cattle and sheep grazing in a number of the fields along our route, some of which may be obscured by hedges. Please be mindful of this when deciding when to trot / canter.
Walkers and dogs
In the event that you meet walkers with dogs along the way, please be courteous and return to a walk until past a safe distance.
Other riders
There may be a possibility that your path may cross with other riders so please return to a walk until past a safe distance.
Jumps
As you are aware there are optional jumps along the route. Please ensure that you check the obstacles before attempting them to ensure a safe take off and landing.

The route will be clearly marked. All riders take part entirely at their own risk and neither the Ackworth & District Riding Club nor the landowner accepts any responsibility for any accident loss or damage to horse, pony, any other animal, rider, spectator, vehicle or property.
All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
