International event rider, Nicola Wilson is based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire and with her great partner, ‘Opposition Buzz’, were pathfinders for the British Team, winning team gold and bronze medals at the European Championships in 2009/2011, Team gold at the World Equestrian Games 2010 (USA) and Olympic Team Silver Medal at London 2012 Olympics.
2014 saw Nicola’s younger horses coming through to Team GBR with ‘Annie Clover’ finishing 25th individually at the Alltech World Equestrian Games (FR) and 4th at Bramham 3* (UK). Other horses also impressed with an 8th for ‘Kiltealy Brief’ at Blenheim 3* (UK) and 5th for ‘Watermill Vision’ at Beokelo (NED) Nicola has also won the Scottish Open no fewer than 4 times on 3 different horses, and is the current Scottish Open Champion with ‘One Two Many’, a horse that was 8th in his first 4* at Pau (Fr) 2014. A bumper 2014 season saw Nicola finish 4th in the British Eventing top 100 Rider Rankings and the highest placed lady rider, a personal best for her.
