This introductory course will cover the basics of one-handed riding, safe handling of weaponry and formation riding.
This will suit established combinations who are looking for a new challenge or have always had an interest in reenactment riding. Riders must be compent at all three paces.
Numbers are limited to ensure personalised tuition.
About the Instructor: Kaitlyn Kernek has been riding horses her whole life, coming to reenactment in 2018. She has always loved the challenge and horsemanship involved in skills-at-arms. She designs, rides and trains for Equistry displays since 2019 and loves mentoring new riders in the discipline. Her focus is on the safety and confidence of horses and riders as well as making it a positive experience.
