🌳 Rookwith Pleasure Ride: Views, Variety, and Good Vibes!
Discover the Heart of North Yorkshire Join us for a gorgeous day in the saddle as we explore the rolling countryside around Rookwith, Thornton Steward, and Thirn. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful hack or a bit of a blast, this route is all about enjoying your horse in a stunning setting.
Your Ride, Your Way We believe pleasure rides should be exactly that—a pleasure! There’s no pressure to keep up with the field; you’re welcome to trek at a pace that suits you and your horse.
The Route: Approximately 9 miles of diverse terrain, including grassy stretches, winding tracks, quiet country lanes, and (seasonal favorite!) open stubble fields.
Something for Everyone: Feeling brave? There are optional jumps along the way. Prefer a shorter day out? We have a shorter loop perfectly suited for lead-rein riders and our youngest equestrians.
Relaxed & Social * No Dress Code: Wear what makes you feel safe and comfortable—tweed, hi-vis, or your favorite hoodie are all equally welcome here!
Midway Pitstop: Take a breather and grab a quick refreshment at our halfway point.
Post-Ride BBQ: The best part of the day! Celebrate a successful ride with a delicious BBQ waiting for you back at the trailers.

Date: 22nd August
Start Times: Rolling start between 9:30 am and 11:00 am.
Entry: £25 per Adult | £15 for Juniors (under 16) | £10 for lead reins
Location: Rookwith (Follow signs on the day).
