Improve your technique and build confidence with regular, monthly gridwork sessions led by Lucinda Atkinson, an international 4* event rider and UKCC Level 3 British Eventing Coach.
Gridwork is one of the most effective training tools for any level of horse and rider. Whether you are introducing a young horse to jumping or tuning up an experienced schoolmaster, these sessions are designed to deliver massive benefits:
Strengthen and develop your horse's jump: Carefully spaced grids encourage your horse to use their body correctly, improving bascule, hind-end engagement, and overall technique.
Improve the rider's eye to a fence: Setting fixed distances takes the guesswork out of the approach, allowing you to focus entirely on your position, balance, and rhythm while developing a better instinct for the right stride.
Build rhythm and confidence: The predictable nature of gridwork builds physical strength and mental confidence for both horse and rider in a supportive environment.
